SALE (in big red letters draws me in)

I allowed myself to roam free among the current sales and this is what happened!

I am a sucker for urban outfitters but tend to only allow my
self to go crazy in the sale which means the guilt is slightly less. So this is one of my purchases....
My 80's style striped skirt which I had my eye on when I was less flushed! When I saw it in the sale at £15 reduced from £30 that was ideal!

I like to think it reflects the 1981 Paul rand IBM logo (which I remember from my graphic design days) When I see the composition of colours on the black background I have a vision of white clunky PCs and tetris which is just lots of fun!

Can you tell its me??

I am very unsure...
Developing your specific style is something I have been very aware of since college. There were many students in my class that had found their own specific way of illustrating that suited them... I had no such style. I often latch on to a single style for a short while but then begin to experiment with something else. It is wise for an illustrator to keep a specific look that would be recognizable as you, probably a maximum of 2. For people who know my work they can see that is mine, usually through the subject and the way I hold my pencil but when it comes to how much detail I use or the medium I this often changes, even dramatically.

Maybe soon I will come across something that will keep me exited for a long while so I can at least develop a collection.
